Home dashboards
Arrange your own Home page from widgets, keep several dashboards, or have one suggested from a description.
Home
Home is your own dashboard: a grid of widgets showing your work, your projects and how the current sprint is going. Rearrange it, keep up to ten dashboards for different purposes, and choose which one opens first.
Your first dashboard
The first time you open Home you get a dashboard called My dashboard with Key numbers, My work, Active sprint, Recently viewed, Projects and Activity. Dashboards belong to you: changing yours never changes anybody else's.
Each widget reads its data as you, so it only ever shows what you are allowed to see. Refresh at the top reloads the page's data.
Widgets you can add
- Key numbers — open, in progress, done and blocked across your projects.
- My work — issues assigned to you, most recently updated first.
- Recently viewed — the issues you opened last.
- Activity — what has happened across the workspace.
- Active sprint — progress through the sprint that is running now.
- Projects — your projects and how much is open in each.
- Sprint burndown — remaining work against the ideal line.
- Workload — who is over capacity this week.
Each widget can appear once per dashboard, and a dashboard holds at most 24 widgets.
Edit a layout
- Press Edit layout.
- Drag a widget by its handle to move it, and pull its corner to resize it. The grid is 12 columns wide.
- Press Add widget and choose from the list to add one; remove a widget from its own card.
- Rename the dashboard by clicking its name in the Editing bar.
- Press Save. Cancel throws the changes away, after asking.
More than one dashboard
- Press New to add a dashboard; it starts with the default widgets.
- Switch between dashboards with the tabs above the grid. The star marks the one Home opens on.
- Press Make default to have Home open on the dashboard you are looking at.
- Press Delete to remove one (offered when you have more than one). If it was your default, your oldest remaining dashboard takes over. Deleting a dashboard never touches the issues it showed.
You can keep up to ten dashboards.
Compose a dashboard from a description
- Press Compose.
- Describe what you want to keep an eye on, for example "how this sprint is going", and press Compose.
- Review the suggested widgets and press Put it in the editor. The suggestion opens on a new, empty dashboard as an unsaved draft — adjust it and press Save.
The assistant only chooses from the widgets above and how wide each is; it never changes an existing dashboard. It needs an AI provider set up for the dashboard composer — without one, the dialog says so and you can build the dashboard by hand.
Guests
Guests do not get dashboards. Their Home shows My work, Recently viewed and Projects, limited to the projects they were invited to.
